Julian Sakata "See?"

Blending elements of 70's musical influences (ala; Bowie, Elton John, Lou Reed, Dylan) with modern synthesis and eerily addictive melodies (see; Flaming Lips, American Music Club, Brian Wilson..) This singer/songwriter ambitiously attempts the seamless blend of "Now and Then" with acoustic guitars, Piano, rhythm section, Synths and the sometimes gratuitous use of distortion.
...Julian Sakata transforms his songs into a "near perfect marriage of Pop music and abstract indulgence with a flare for dramatics...."

His composition "Everything's Beautiful Once" (in various mixes) is featured predominantly in the feature film "Flourish" directed by Kevin Palys. "Flourish premiered March, 2006 at the world reknown Cinequest Film Festival as well as the 2006 Cannes Film Festival in May 2006. The film features the talents of Jennifer Morrison and Jesse Spencer (T.V.'s "House"), Olivia Burnette, Leighton Meester (T.V.'s "Surface") and Daniel Roebuck. This is a rare "paired down" mix of the song for the film that best captures Julian's rawest "bedroom aesthetic" in this recorded performance.
